Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: September 12, 2026
1. Before Work Begins
A client may cancel in writing before work begins. Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, amounts paid will be refunded less non-recoverable expenses, payment-processing costs where legally permitted, and work already performed in preparation for the engagement.
2. After Work Begins
Once research, planning, respondent recruitment, data acquisition, analysis or consulting work has begun, fees attributable to completed work and committed third-party costs are non-refundable. Any approved refund will be calculated against the unearned portion of the project fee.
3. Deposits and Retainers
Deposits reserve capacity and may fund project setup. The refundable status of a deposit will be stated in the applicable proposal or agreement. Earned retainers and fees for completed service periods are non-refundable.
4. Subscription or Recurring Services
Recurring services may be cancelled by written notice at least 10 calendar days before the next billing date unless the governing agreement specifies another period. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively refund a completed billing period.
5. Rescheduling and Client Delays
Requests to reschedule meetings or fieldwork should be submitted at least two business days in advance. Third-party charges caused by late changes, missed sessions, delayed approvals or unavailable client materials remain the client’s responsibility.
6. Digital Deliverables
Because reports, datasets, presentations and strategic work products cannot be returned after delivery, fees for completed and delivered work are generally non-refundable. We will correct material errors within the agreed scope when promptly reported.
7. Requesting a Cancellation or Refund
Email Jose@jgrconsulting.us with the client name, invoice number, reason for the request and relevant supporting information. We normally acknowledge requests within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; bank and card processing times may vary.
8. Charge Concerns
Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we can review the engagement records and attempt a prompt resolution.
